Terms and Privacy

Disclaimer

The process we employ uses a digital photograph, if you only have a physical paper copy of your photo feel free to send it to us by post, we will scan it at a high resolution on a dedicated photo scanner and return it. Any posted photographs should be securely packed and ideally sent by Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ delivery, to allow it to be tracked in case of delay. We cannot be held responsible for any photographs lost as a result of mishandling by a courier.

We advise that photo files should be those which are at least 300dpi in resolution, but no higher than 1200dpi, to allow for the best possible reproduction. They can be supplied as jpg, png, PDF, tiff or Photoshop files. You are also welcome to post physical photographs to us or bring them into the office for scanning.

PLEASE BE AWARE, photos taken on old mobile phones or as a screenshot, small or grainy images, and photographs of the paper copy (rather than scanned on a flatbed scanner,) may not be of a good enough quality for the finished product and may produce unexpected results.

As the customer it is your responsibility to ensure that the best possible version of the photograph is supplied to us, we cannot take responsibility for plaques that do not come out well due to the quality of the image used. We are more than happy to offer advice before the order is placed.

Photos which have been sent via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger will be of a lower quality. These services compress image files, we strongly recommend you do not use either to receive your photographs. It is better to email digital files, or send them via a large file transfer website.

Anything supplied in the manners mentioned above will be taken under the assumption that you understand the risks involved and accept responsibility for the quality of the finished piece.

If you have any concerns about the photograph you wish to use, feel free to email it for pre-approval BEFORE placing your order.

PROOF IMAGES CAN BE SUPPLIED UPON REQUEST BUT ARE NOT A GUARANTEED INDICATION OF THE FINAL COLOURS. THESE ARE TO SHOW ANY EDITING WORK CARRIED OUT, AS WELL AS HOW YOUR PHOTO WILL FIT WITHIN YOUR CHOSEN SHAPE.

Actual colours may vary, due nature of the digital ceramic printing and firing process, we cannot always guarantee an exact replication of the screen image. Information about the limitations of our process can be discussed with our team if necessary.

TRADE CUSTOMERS

Memorial Masons and other related businesses who supply direct to the consumer may apply for trade discount. Upon supplying valid company information/ a registered VAT number we will set up an account for the corresponding business. This will also qualify you for access to discount at checkout on this website, subject to approval by our team; you will have to set up a standard account on the website before being able to apply for trade discount.

Invoices issued to trade customers are due within 30 days of the issue date. If payments are overdue past the stated date the account will be put on hold, no new proofs will be provided and completed photo plaques will not be posted. Once payment has been cleared, work will resume on those orders as soon as possible. Should there be extenuating circumstances causing the late payment, please contact us as soon as possible to inform us, we are happy to discuss the issue and will review our response on a case by case basis.

Should an account have habitually late payments, where there has repeatedly been no contact from the customer on each occasion and our attempts to make contact have been unsuccessful, your account will no longer qualify for the 30 day grace period. Once payment has been received, plaques will be dispatched on the day they are removed from the kiln.
